Jagtar Singh - non executive director
Jagtar, who now lives in Biddenham, Bedfordshire, was born in the Punjab India and came to England in 1961.
After studying business studies at college, he joined the West Midlands Fire Service, where he served for 24 years before being appointed as deputy chief fire officer at Bedfordshire and Luton Fire and Rescue Service in 2001. He was awarded an OBE in 2003 for his work on equality and diversity in the fire service.
